The last show of the year, and some very well attended classes with breeders and exhibitors travelling far and wide to attend.  Mr Leeuwenhaag, from the Netherlands, should be very pleased to have managed 1st and 2nd in the Section C colt class, with Abergavenny Emperor & Swffryd Sam Tam although it was the yearlings that won the championships in the Cs and the Ds as well as overall:  Congratulations to the Bigleys who won the Welsh Championship with their yearling filly Llanarth Delilah (Douthwaite Signwriter x Llanarth Dulcie) pictured above.

In the Ds the championship went to the Greys Yearling Colt, Thorneyside His Majesty, with reserve going to the second placed yearling colt, Deytheur Brenin ap Playboy

There are a few more photos from the day which I have plucked out of the gloom of my winter fair collection which are at the bottom of the page.

Anthony Reynolds was the official photographer, so for those wishing to buy something of themselves or their stock, he's your best bet.

S4C were there filming, it is possible that you can still view some footage via their website.

After looking through my photos again, there is not much likelihood of my finding decent photos of 1 - 3 let alone 1 - 6 this year. I think the cold which froze my feet after the first half hour of arriving at the show reached my head by the time the Ds came in as the number of photos taken diminished dramatically as the day wore on.

No doubt the results of the show will be posted on the RWAS website in the not too distant future and you can blissfully imagine how nice they looked, all plump and gleaming in the "wedding marquee".

The rest of my humble offerings below:.
