Well in the end the championships were a bit of a replay from Lampeter with Fronarth Welsh Lion (pictured above) winning the Mr and Mrs Malcolm Richards Cup for Champion Section D exhibit, pipping the novice D Stallion exhibit and winner of the Tregare Shield Danaway Harry and the Youngstock Champion and winner of the Russel Baldwin & Bright Cup Pennal Brynmor.  Champion Yearling & winner of the Donys Silver Plate was Abergavenny Yasmin, not the one that sold in the sales, but another Picasso filly, (x Abergavenny Railway Queen) that was sold to the Triad stud last autumn with Ionos Ffion winning the award for best filly.  Was she supreme youngstock filly as well, I think she might have been?  Someone will let me know I am sure. 

Plenty of hock action throughout the day and youngstock by our old favourites Railway and Desert as well as CM2 & Culhwch (so all descended from Railway then!) as well as some by the newer (in our collective consciousness anyway) stock getters too.

I'm sorry I didn't catch a photo of 2nd place ridden Cathael Mali, I normally rely on a shot from early on in the class to capture the results of a class when I'm attempting to cover more than one class, but for some reason I have got about 20 of Wexland Dafydd Du and none of the Chestnut.
