I'll probably jinx next year now, but it was gorgeous yet again at Cothi Bridge.  The show ran really well, just the right balance of order, without any unnessary rigidity: allowing the ridden D class to swap over to a slightly more roomy ring next door to where they initially set out.  (Much better gallops as a result.)  I was delighted to see Pensawel Stud do so well with Caebryn Surreal (Ffoslas Lord Thomas x Glanvyrnwy Sonya) taking not only champion welsh ridden (with Dani Everitt reserve on Dyrfal Tywysog Du) but also Reserve Supreme of Show,  as well as winning the barren mare class too with Penstrumbly Paper Roses.  The in hand was won by the nine year old stallion Tyngwndwn Daniel (Nebo Daniel x Osbourn Morwena) with reserve going to Hadyn Hudson's 11 year old mare Maesyfelin Harlequin, who looked so good I have no problem putting three photos of her below - she was the only mare forward in the brood mare class.

In the youngstock Pencalon Boneddiges (Penllwynuchel Mathonwy x Landore Lady Jane) a yearling filly owned by Mr D Carlow, but produced by Paul Harper was champion with Broadley Orange Blossom, a two year old filly owned by the Broadley stud but produced by Nerys (the Madonna of the cob world - she doesn't require a surname) taking reserve.  I really liked this filly, but then I always have a bit of a soft spot for the dam's sire's progeny.

Regrettably I've fluffed the M&M results, but I think it was Cs who ruled the both classes and there were non welsh things in there too, so no Ds as champion.
