What a lovely venue for my first dedicated foal show of the year.  The much longed for "Indian Summer" manifested at last and this really helped the foals look their best for what was, for many, their first outing from home.  I'm only sorry that Gower Foal show was on the same day - I would loved to have made it their too.  Hopefully there won't be a clash every year.

Pretty good mix of types and maturity with some still looking like foals and some looking half way on the road for Lampeter already.  Mr A.W.Mcdonald, Troedymynydd Stud chose the Gwenllan Colt as his champion with the Brohedydd First Lady as Reserve Section C foal.

Mr Geraint Hughes, Ionos Stud found himself a nice pair in Haighmoor Dewi Sant as Champion with the filly foal Eglwysfach Charisma being Reserve D.

Julie Evans' colt went on to win the Supreme from the Section B filly Cadlanvalley Georgia, but despite his good looks he's not a "keeper" - he's off to the sales in October....
