ABERAERON FESTIVAL OF WELSH PONIES & COBS - AUGUST 12TH 2007

What a treat - excellent weather & lots of lovely Welsh Ponies & Cobs.  There was a really relaxed atmosphere, with even the most focused of handler visibly relaxing (smiling) and enjoying the opportunity to show off their prized stock.

As the photo above shows, welsh ponies and cobs hijack the town,  round up all the grockles and herd them into the town green, which is transformed into a  showring surrounded by stalls.

I'm sorry about all the Morlena Carwyn Photos - I thought he was gorgeous - and only one eye too!  My husband liked him too - or was it "bendy girl" he liked?? You can see more about the Dolbadarn Film Horses by clicking here 

The Menai Display was really good  - in fact everything underlined the whole point of the day - the diverse & universal appeal of the sections.  The event does have its own website: www.aberaeronfestival.com from which you may be able to purchase DVDs at some point.  Make a point of going next year - it is good fun!
